Balingit Family
Hey! We’re the Balingit family! God has allowed us to live in the beautiful province of Nova Scotia for the last 5 years and we have loved every second of it. We moved here from Ontario right after we got married in 2018 and immediately began serving at church in New Glasgow, NS. We knew for the last couple years that God wanted us to plant a church in the Halifax area and since September 2023, we have started that process and have seen some amazing things happen already!
Our two boys names’ are Bryce (who is 6 years old and loves dinosaurs) and Jace (he's our 4 year old busy body), and we just welcomed our first girl, Adalae — we absolutely love doing life with our family! During our down time we love going to different parks, having family movie nights, and trying out new restaurants in the city!
Nathanael King
Hey, my name is Nathanael King and I’ve spent much of my life living here in Nova Scotia. I grew up in the small town of Stellarton where my dad pastored a church there for many years. As far as I can remember, church has always been a part of my life where I have been able to grow spiritually but also involve myself in many different ministries. I’ve served in children’s classes, summer Bible camps, served our community through different outreaches, and been a part of our church media team. Apart from serving at church, I love playing sports (especially basketball), trying out new foods, and hanging out with friends. I recently moved closer to the city of Halifax for work but to also be a part of the launch of CityLight Baptist Church. Every Sunday I help with the set up and tear down for each service, as well as am heavily involved in the media ministry of the church.
